Stops like these often become some of the most pleasant memories of summer in the Orlické Mountains and the Podorlicko region.
And what if a similar stop could reward you with something extra? From July 1 to July 30, the summer contest “Stop by for a taste of Orlicko and win!” is taking place, connecting regional producers with visitors and local residents alike. Just discover one of the products made in the Orlické Mountains and the Podorlicko region and enter the draw for attractive prizes.
Behind every product there’s a story
The Orlické Mountains and the Podorlicko region aren’t just a landscape of lookout towers, ridge trails, and historic sights. They are also home to people who lovingly bake bread, make cosmetics, roast coffee, farm, sew, create pottery, or brew beer. Each of these products carries a piece of the region within it. A piece of the landscape, tradition, and honest work. The summer contest is therefore an invitation not only to shop, but above all to discover the places and stories behind them.
Maybe you’ll head for fresh baked goods in Nové Město nad Metují, taste farm products from the foothills of the Orlické Mountains, or discover products you didn’t even know about until now.
How to take part?
The principle of the contest is simple. Buy from one of the participating producers, scan the QR code, and fill out a short form. In a few moments, you’re done and you’re in. You can join the contest when shopping in brick-and-mortar stores as well as through selected e-shops.
What’s at stake?
Up for grabs are prizes that will delight every lover of travel and regional experiences. One winner will receive a weekend stay at the Panorama Mountain Chalet, another a stay for two at the Letohrad Chateau Hotel with breakfast and dinner. Additional great prizes from regional producers are also prepared.
