The Ridge of the Orlické Mountains

The main ridge of the Orlické Mountains is one of the most beautiful and most accessible mountain ranges in the Czech Republic. Along its entire 42-kilometre length, it offers an easy walk without any significant elevation changes. Along the Czech-Polish border, you can admire the mountain scenery as well as well-preserved bunkers and fortifications of the pre-war defensive line.

Silent beauty on mountain peaks

The landscape of the Orlické Mountains is best experienced from above. Just hike up to their ridgelines and take in the view. A beautiful panorama opens up before you, looking out over the rolling forests, tranquil valleys, and the scattered towns and villages that shape the region’s character. Viewpoints and mountain huts will easily tempt you to stop and enjoy a pleasant rest. In the end, you may be surprised by how many hidden yet remarkable places you discover here.
