The Quiet and the Wild Orlice
Land Gate
Earth Gate is one of the most beautiful places in the Orlické Mountains. The Divoká Orlice River cuts through a rocky valley here, creating a dramatic gorge with massive gneiss walls.
Pastviny Dam
The vast reservoir, winding through the valley of the Divoká Orlice near Žamberk, offers not only a technically interesting dam, but above all ideal conditions for swimming, water sports and all kinds of summer recreation.
Castles and châteaux on the Orlice
Along the Tichá Orlice runs a unique line of noble residences. Traveling between the châteaux will take you into a world of aristocratic families, architectural gems, and fascinating stories. Some châteaux are still owned by the original families, and you might even meet their members in person during your visit.
