Observation towers
You can best get to know the landscape of the Orlické Mountains from above. Just find the right spot and look out over the countryside. In the Orlické Mountains and their foothills you will find traditional stone buildings as well as modern towers made of wood and steel. Each of them offers a different view, a different route, a different atmosphere.
Border fortifications
The fortifications evoke a time when freely passable borders were not a given and the landscape bore the marks of preparations to defend the republic. Infantry blockhouses, bunkers, and more extensive fortress systems now stand silent, yet they still speak clearly of our history.
